How do I go about re painting this? The original home owner used pink. The pictures don’t really show it. But it needs to be re done and I do not want to do pink again.
what kind of paint? Do I have to remove the other paint?

Just go over it, 1st priming with an oil base transitional primer.

All paint work starts with prep. I would pressure wash it first and let it dry then follow the above advice. If you don’t own a good quality pressure washer it is well worth the investment as a new home owner. I like the gas powered ones as they are built much better than the smaller electric ones, but having both types they both work well.

When pressure washing low on the building where there is dirt or grass it will want to splash back up on the wall. I like to lay something down on the ground to stop that from happening.
