Hi guys. Question: I've noticed my garage door lintel is starting to rust a bit and I'm thinking about sanding and painting on a protective sealer. After doing some research, I've learned that these lintels are supposed to all have weep holes to let water escape from behind the brick. But I do NOT see any form of weeps in the mortar or the lintel! House was built in 2001 and I don't have any cracks in bricks or mortar or anything, yet, but just wanted to make sure I'm learning the proper ways to deal with this. I thought there should be some flashing and visible weep holes! What should I do? Thanks
