Granite Transformations ?

Has anyone used them to 'reface' their kitchen/bath counters?

I would love granite, but I just don't think we would get the $$ back when we sell the house.

Opinions? Experience? I appreciate the insights.

In my opinion, using the one piece granite tops is terribly expensive and probably won't be recovered. However, if you use granite tile to cover the countertops and the backsplash area you get a pleasant appearance, much lower cost and a good possibility of recovering the expense.

TileGuy is a member on here and can give expert advice on how to use the tile for countertops. I won't step into his territory.
