The pix show a section of my gutters. All gutters are covered with these plastic gutter guard panels. When it rains heavily, the circled section overflows. The panels are a couple of years old and this section of the roof is under two large trees, an oak and a cherry, so there is quite a bit of gunk and leaves falling on the roof during spring/summer/fall but no needles.

Why is it overflowing? Clogged panels? I looked at them and they didn't seem to be clogged more than other sections of the same gutter. Improper sloping? The gutter seems to be sloping correctly, slightly sloped to the left were the downspout is. What else can be wrong? TIA!

Get the hose out and run some water on the cover and see if water is flowing through. Next rain, get the umbrella and watch the flow of water. You may be getting a large amount of water flow from the upper gutter if it doesn't have an end cap on it. Check to make sure your down pipe outlet isn't clogged.
