My daughter uses hairspray, and over time, it builds up on the floor. What is a good cleaner to remove it? I've read borax and hot water or baking soda and water. Do they work?

I don't know Old Dawg. That hairspray is water soluble. I sure wouldn't recommend acetone where a little soap, water and vinegar would work just fine.

It is just a guess. I personally don't use that stuff myself.:hide:

Well, I did get ambushed ONCE, but I was loaded on Oxy's the day after I got home from the hospital after one of my knee replacements.

I guess isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball or soft cloth would dissolve hairspray droplets
