Hello everyone,
I had a question for anyone- my grandfather was telling me that for a healthy lawn, I need sprinkle cornfeed on the lawn before it rains.
He insist this makes for a healthy lawn, nice and green.

Not that I am doubting him :) just was curious if anyone has ever used this method?

Cornfeed? Is that like corn meal? Ive never heard of doing this. The only thing I can think of is that it could help provide nutrients for some organism in the soil that help to keep your lawn healthy... But I honestly dont know.

I do know corn meal work great for getting rid of destructive ants in your lawn. Takes about 2 weeks, but its no poisonous to kids and pets. But it works like a charm :)

I've never heard of cornfeed. Is that another name for fertilizer?
