"trapezoid" type area that is making it difficult to measure the square ft of countertops. Any ideas?

Husband and I were going to put countertops in ourselves but I don't know how we would do without getting it in 3 pieces, which would be a lot of seams. The current counter only has one seam and I have no idea how they did that with the irregular shape. If I can't figure out, will unfortunately have to hire a pro to do : (

A full sheet if you can find a supplier is 5ft wide 10ft long. Likely that is what they used.

To measure the area you have now, why not do what the professional installers do? Make yourselves a full-sized template, using heavy cardboard and packaging tape. You can cut and fit it perfectly to what's there now (leaving a rectangular hole for the sink opening), and use that as a pattern to lay out and cut your new countertop.
