 - There are so many companies out there that provide historic window restoration. Has anyone had a good experience with a company they could recommend? We are buying a 1912 house in Virginia and really want to save the original windows.

    Thanks,

I would talk to your local lumber yard and see if anyone with a good reputation does this work in your area.

Many times a milwork shop will do this type of work and they have all the right tools.:)

Ask around and talk to more than one place...go do some visiting.;)

Thanks for the tip. I will do that tomorrow. Have you heard of or had any experience with either Haas or Historic Structures? Historic Structures is in DC and I believe Haas is somewhere near Richmond.
