How to fill these KO holes?

The only ones I could find at the store were threaded. Will they work?

The hole measures 7/8" in diameter.

Will that fill the hole, yes, is that the right way to do it, no.
 
People do have a habit of using a hose to wash outside of windows so even what looks like a dry area may want waterproof .
 
Yes, that is not a good box to use at all. Actually it is very dangerous to use.

You can use the box suggested in Post #2 by joecaption along with this switch plate cover.
 
Is it outside? The lock on the door knob is showing? Is that a reflection on the window to the right? Hard to tell? I’m confused, am I missing something? It’s like a riddle
