Take off the two side shower heads and put caps on the pipes to block the water. You can buy the caps at any hardware store for cheap. Just unscrew the shower heads, put some plumber's tape on the pipes, and screw the caps on. Done!I've attached some pictures. The shower has 3 shower heads spraying water during a shower. I'd like to remove those 2 shower heads on the wall and block water coming from it. I'd prefer just 1 shower head above my head.
Crescent, channel locks/water-pump pliers or vise grips will work. Wrap the threader nipple end clockwise prior to installing the cap.
The chrome nipple may also began to turn, is so, there are soft jaw covers made for channel locks, or, you can wrap then with electricians tape, to prevent damaging the chrome plating on the nipple.
Why is the plumber's tape necessary if i may ask?Take off the two side shower heads and put caps on the pipes to block the water. You can buy the caps at any hardware store for cheap. Just unscrew the shower heads, put some plumber's tape on the pipes, and screw the caps on. Done!
