I have a unique sliding glass patio door and need a replacement handle but can't find one so thought someone might be able to help.
To close the door you slide it shut and then push on it so that it pushes the entire door into the frame, then turn the handle (level type) which hooks into the door frame and pushes the door further into the frame to make a tight seal.
To open the door you turn the handle to release the door from the frame and then pull the entire door towards yourself to pop it out of the frame and then slide it open.
I like the door because it has a very good seal to keep out the cold but it is very hard to open, especially for people who don't know how it works.
I need a replacement handle and can't find one online anywhere so any info. would help.
