I just opened my thick curtains for the first time in a few months, and my sliding door is absolutely drenched There's water all the way to the top of the door, which shouldn't even be possible since I've got a covered patio so rain can't reach that high, and the inner curtain is covered in mildew.

How is the inside of my door so wet, and is there any way to fix it without replacing the entire door?

Thanks

Welcome.

Open the curtains on a daily basis, which allows the difference in the temperature of the glass to equalize preventing condensation.

With heavy curtains the window does not get enough heat to keep the glass warm.
But warm moist air from the house will circulate thru the area and cool to the temp of the glass causing the moisture to condense.

Your pictures are too dark and blurry to provide any information to help solve your issue.

Meanwhile, your house is apparently too humid.
