My family noticed there's a crack in the house's exterior stucco.
A contractor filled it up with a concrete paste, smudged the region (in an attempt to make the new surface even), and then painted it.
However, there's now a noticeable mark as shown in the photo.
Is there anything that can be done to make the mark not as noticeable?
Such as applying a new layer of stucco?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Feathering a new layer of stucco could blend the scar. It needs to be 6"-10" wider on both sides of the crack. Then you need to repaint the stucco. Good luck. :)

The repair looks it is higher than the original surface. Might try grinding it smooth and then repaint.
