Just want a mod to notice a new individual who has joined tonight and using this forum as a place to sell his junk, not contributing anything, just using the site basically .
Forgive me if I'm out of line, but I don't expect this ignorance from anyone, nor a site like this to tolerate it.

Is there a classifieds section for this board? I bet there's a handful of people on here that don't want to mess with ebay or anything and would like to sell lightly used household items (ceiling fans, tools, etc., etc.) first come first serve.

I run a townie music msg board with a classified board and it seems to work alright.

I think sticking with Craigslist makes more sense. You can sell locally and it is free to advertise there.

I don't even bother with craigslist anymore.

Its nothing but a bunch of loosers posting fake adds for fake items, oh yea, and a ton of spam.

The retards there even flag the real adds just to "pi$$ off" the people that actually have the money to purchase said items...

I'll stick with retail "big box" stores. That way I avoid all the window shopping tire-kickers...

We seem to live in the same neck of the woods, but I've had pretty good luck with Craigslist. Like anything that is free, it can be abused, but I've gotten some real deals from honest people that just want to sell their stuff. And it makes sense to sell stuff locally. If I have a cement mixer that I want to sell, it doesn't do a guy in California or Texas much good to hear about it.
