Key hard to put in

We have a new door lock and when using the original key, it is hard to get it in and out. It unlocks without issue, but getting the key in in and out, it feels like it is the wrong key.
Any idea why?

Try getting some powdered graphite and lubing the lock.

Have you contacted the customer service of the CO. that mades the replacement lock?

I bought a tube of this decades ago, and still have it. Just a quick shot into the lock should lubricate the mechanism and make it work easier.
