hi i'm new to the forum. i've always wanted a talent of mine to be a handy man. and i just don't know where to start. so i guess i'll start where i can. which happens to be a leaky faucet at my mothers.

the faucet is leaky of course, even turning the water off from under the sink doesn't work, no matter how tight it is. it even leaks from the pipes under the sink.

anyone mind pointing me in the right direction to have this fixed?

I may not have the answer but I can ask a few questions like. How old do you think it is?
What brand is it and style. What kind or colour are the pipes before and after the shut off valves. What is the water pressure like normal, light, high or really high.
