Ok first time here. I had a party at the house and the lights went out. Next day I checked the circuit breaker and it was giving me 120v then I check the switch and it was giving me 120v ground to hot and 120v ground to neutral. I flipped the switch to the on position and it was giving me the same. Hat could be the problem.

Kill the breaker to those lights, remove one wire off off of the switch and switch the meter to OHM touch the terminals and turn the switch on and off.
It should go from nothing to all the way over.

120 volt ground to neutral indicates an open neutral. You have a loose or disconnected white wire somewhere. It could be in the panel if the entire circuit is dead. If only half the circuit is dead then it could be in any junction box, switch, light, receptacle on the circuit.
