Marvin window problem

    I have Marvin Ultimate Double Hung Windows in my house that are 8 years old.
    In one window the inside top tracks with the return mechanism has slipped down and now move up and down with the window.
    The left hand picture shows the slipped track in the foreground. The right hand picture shows another window with the track in the correct position.
    Any ideas how to fix it ?

    It looks like the fastner that holds the rail has come out or broken. I would try sliding the closer up to the top and put a short screw in the hole of the closer, into the wood frame.
