I had a new ceiling light installed as part of a renovation of a new apartment. While checking on the light regarding a separate issue, I noticed what appears to be a loose wire. Should I be concerned? CL01.jpg CL02.jpg

No concern and to clean up the installation, just cut the excess off, that's dangling from the green screw.

Bare copper wire, or a green wire is for your ground. As said above, it all appears tied to the ground screw in the metal place, so it is fine.

So that's the grounding wire. Good to know, thanks.
