I have installed new cpvc and pvc sch 40 throughout the house. I installed new metal shut off valves on both lines under my bathroom sink, toilet and under my kitchen sink. Each valve was wrapped twice with teflon and tightened. After turning the water on each valve began to slowly leak? Any help appreciated

Thanks

I hope that the Schedule 40 PVC was only used for drain lines and not pressurized supply lines.

I assume that the leaks are occurring where the valve connects to the CPVC.

Did you use a compression connection?

Or,

Did you use a threaded connection?

If you used a threaded connection does the adapter used have metal or, plastic threads?
