Hello, seeking thoughts, advice, opinions on this remodel idea for my basement. I'm going to add a bathroom downstairs, but in order to access it you would currently need to walk through a bedroom. I'd like to change the floor plan as follows...
That wall should not be load bearing. The joists go the same direction as the wall does. It's definitely a huge project. Busting through the brick sounds messy. My wife is against the idea but it provides the best flow for the space by far. What would you do? How would you approach the remodel? Thanks guys!
