Outdoor antenna

This is my outdoor antenna.

As you can see from the pic, it gets rained on.

There is a small amount of corrosion on the aluminum rods.

Would that decrease my reception over time?

If so, should I coat it with something?

Are you still getting all your channels? If so don't mess with it is my advice.

I have mine in my attic.

They are made to be outside and tarnish.

I made a simple stealth hawk antenna (as seen on youtube) that works well for me.

I made that kind of antenna.

It was not as good as what I have now.
