awning copy.jpg the awning is about 12 years old in a mild climate.
we have had very high temperatures lately.
where the awning roof meets the house one can see Styrofoam.
see it on the ground on the left and a closeup of the the stuff in the right pic.
we dont see birds pecking at it.
styrofoam bits are even worse this morning!
what is happening?
is it simple to replace?
it is not painted
thanks all

Welcome.
There is a red "X" over your image, so something doesn't like it.

Back to the subject, the foam is probably a spacer and deteriorates over time. You may be able to find the same shape, remove and replace.

Thanks, that's better, however a closeup would help.

What you describe is typical of "some" "W" pan patio covers and there are replacement products.
