    Hello All,

Per picture below, I am sure there was caulking in place there where the steel sink meets the granite counter top (red circle). What would be the best way to go about this before recaulking it. How would you remove the mold that's gotten inside the gap? It seems complicated.. Thank you.

Thank you Snoony. Not sure how deep the mold is in there. I guess it can’t all be removed then since I do not see an easy way to get into that gap. Won’t that cause the mold to worsen if not completely removed or should it be okay? Thank you

It appears that the caulk has began to separate and the brush should be able to clean the area, then when you apply the new caulk it will seal the area and prevent air from assisting in the mold propagation.

the same thing happened to me, i cut out and removed all the old clear caulking on my kitchen under mount sink. then i went and bought a very expensive tube of clear caulking, i recommend it . yes it is double price but well worth it

Where do you find the bleach? Does it matter if it's powder or liquid? I haven't found any pure bleach products so far... Thank you
