Hi. I recently had new replacement windows installed in my house. The windows are Polaris Ultraweld. As I was cleaning them, I noticed that one of the windows has a small imperfection or scratch in the glass on the inside. It is about the size of a small fingernail. Can anyone tell me if glass imperfections are common in replacement windows, and if there is a possibility that it might cause any problems (with the coating, or with the scratch getting any larger)? I am trying to decide if it is worth mentioning to the installers. Thanks.

Welcome StrayKatt:
By all means you should mention it to the installer..... and demand a new sash. You paid a fortune for the windows and there is no reason to accept them less than perfect. I hope you haven't paid them in full yet.
