Good job, Z... Is there a reason it's Purple though?
I don't know if its coming off a weird color on your screen, but it's Deep River blue. The inside light seems to make it look a bit more purple in the photo but it's blue.
Numnutz pets still haven't figured out how to use the pet door.

Ok, kinda beside the point... Actually though, If I had certain neighbors from my past, I would be tempted to paint my House Pink with Purple polka dots in an effort to crash their property value.

I know you didn't do it for that reason though.

Hard, dark blue for me, could be SP's sciatica cure, with the bourbon.

So, as a regenerative/regurgitated T-totaler, into which orifice, was the sciatica cure inhaled?

Mom loves the color of the door so I'm happy. She did pick the color from some paint swatches I showed her (although I had already pegged that one as the one she'd like).

I'm going to look into self leveling mixes that don't require metal mesh to be put down-- just a primer and then pour it out after mixing. I'll have to block off the doorway to the kitchen so cats and dogs can't step in it.

Last night I asked Mom if she wants me to finish the laundry room or start on her bathroom next. She's couldn't make up her mind.

I'm going to try to do some measurements today to see how big the gaps are between brickmould and J-trim. I also need to figure out how to install the Z- channel stuff above the door. I think it goes under the J-trim. I'll probably get some stair tread tape to put over the sill. Really wish my friend had let me put the flashing on before he did the sill, but he wanted to get stuff done and it was hot outside.

The gap under the door will probably be the trickiest part to manage. I'll probably have to custom cut something to the right size to fit. I'm pretty sure the gaps on the sides and top will turn out to be uneven. I wonder if lattice moulding will fit. I have some leftover pieces....

Coffee could go in either.

One of those is Exit Only though.
A new VA DR. visiting patients, happened onto someone with his jaw wired shut, being fed annaly, DR ask if he needed anything, patient mumbled coffee, cream and sugar, beverage arrived, dispensed, PATIENT LOUDLY MOANS, DR asks if it was too hot, patent replys, NO, TOO SWEET.

You got cards you ain't show-n???????????????

I remember a movie with Orlando Jones giving birth to an alien butt baby and asking for ice cream. "What flavor?"
"It doesn't matter! It's for my a$$!"

I had thoughts about the door project but just had brain freeze. LOL.

You all have been officially declared as weird!

Sounds like you're projecting some Nightmares from your time in the Federal Pokey?

Or just Dakota?

I have a cat named Bethesda. I was trying to teach her how to use the pet door today but she's not that bright.
I'm struggling to find the right sized exterior trim to either replace the brickmould or to bridge the gap between brickmould and J-trim. Need either 2" or 4" and am not finding either. And I mean actual 2" or 4", not nominal. I'd prefer pvc but might be able to do vinyl. Hoping I can hide the underside of the sill with a landing if/when I build one. I wonder if I can build a cinderblock landing and fill in the blocks with dirt or quikrete and then add railing and steps. Or maybe it would be easier to build it out of wood. I found some composite deck boards I like but they are over $30 per board. If I get nominal 6" wide ones I would need about 11 or so to make the landing the size I want. I think...

One last & final.

Was that you, driving that prevertable?

The top doesn't go down, but the driver............

And as perpous driven goes............

Well, my being a fan of norm Crosby, adds a stinktion-di, because it's religious.
