Screen door replacement screen

I just have a question about screen doors..I was looking to replace the mesh on my 3x6 screen door.. would I have to get a 4 foot wide roll to have enough to go into the spline channel or is a 3x7 manufactured with the additional inch or whatever is needed to fit into the spline channel

Yes, the precut product should be fine.

Measure the width of the existing screen, rather than the width of the door. If the screen itself is 36 inches wide, you will have to buy 48 inch wide screen fabric.

One other question..would I be able to re-use the original spline since I don’t know what size the spline is and if I have to buy new spline how would I determine what size would fit

The spline can and will wear with age, however you can take a small piece with you and match it where you purchase the screen stock.
