shower drips

    i have a single handle tub and shower valve how do i get it to stop dripping when it is not in use

    What brand is the valve? If you don't know, can you post a pic of the unit?

    If you can figure out what brand it is just by the looking at the symbols on the control handle, most companies are life time warranted and if you go on there web site and get the 800 # they will send you a whole new cartridge for free.
