Sill plate type insulation under new basement walls

So here I am sitting, trying to figure out how to build a better mousetrap. I'm getting ready to start doing the framing in the new basement after having put up some rather nice pink insulation (purple if you ask my wife). While already planning on doing the treated wood thing for the base plates, I got to thinking about sill-plate insulation (the thin foam pad type stuff). Would it be worthwhile to put that down with glue and then glue the top of it and set the treated wood floorplate on top of that? It obviously seems less secure of a connection between floor and wall, but I suspect it would still work since the top will be secured solidly.

So - anyone do this and have a good or bad experience?

We do it on all our basement finishes. We also use it on wall studs that touch concrete too, it separates the concrete from the wood. Always a Good idea.
