I have an inground sprinkler system. over the past few years it has come to pass that the heads are getting lower and lower in the ground, and keeping them clear getting to be more work.

anyone offer any constructive help?

You could dig around them and about a foot along the pipe on each side of them, raise them up, place a spacer under each one and fill them back in. For my money though, I would rather keep cleaning the top of them off; maybe use a shot of Round-up around each one to fight the grass back.
