Anyone know what kind of door I can buy at Home Depot that I can cut down?

My basement is only about 7'. After ceiling is put in, I have very little clearance, and an 80" door is too big. I'm thinking I need one about 75" for this little utility closet area. But all the doors at HD are 80". I thought even one of those little metal utility doors that you find for furnace closets in some homes would work...but HD doesn't seem to sell them.

Any ideas?

Have you looked a mobile home doors, they tend to be smaller...

Or you could cut a regular one shorter.

If you cut one down, just make sure you buy a solid core one. The hollow cores can but cut down, but it's much more of a hassle. You have to re-install the bottom wood filler.

The small privately owned local lumber yards can special order odd sized interior doors.

if your only bringing it down a few inches get a 6 panel solid wood and cut it on the bottom. shouldnt be a problem
