Hi all.
I don't get many spiders in the house upstairs, luckily, but have noticed a ton in my sump pump room. It's not muggy or damp or even humid in there (35%) so maybe they are just attracted to the standing water in the crock?
Anyone know a good remedy for this to get rid of them? I was thinking some kind of poison pucks or something? Thx

Have you tried just spraying with bug spray? I usually spray the garage and around the perimeter of the house every 3 months and seldom see spiders.

You can put out sticky traps like they sell for mice, in the area where you see spiders.
You will probably catch a few mice that way also.

Otherwise, as olddog said, just spray around the sump pit, windows, baseboards, corners, with any crawling insect spray.

Look into a spray product called "Miss Muffet", it works wonders.

Yeah, you have to use bug spray to eliminate spiders. There are lots of products in the hardware for you to use from.
