Hello everyone me and my wife have been looking at this brick house in Iowa that's a fannae Mae. It was built in 1940 and has ugly orange brick with gray roof. It looks like the bricks are only one layer deep because I've seen some of them crumble off, not sure if that is normal? We can see some type of grid that the bricks are Falling off.
Here's my thinking, would it be better to re brick the house with the color we like? Or is the bricks falling off not a thing to worry about? It's only a couple small spots. The other option would be to stain or paint the house. Even though it wouldn't be permanent it would be cheaper. Does any have any experience with either of these two options? Ill post pics of the brick falling off but here's the house from long distance.
