I've posted a stucco question before and now I think I'm going to go forward and hire a stucco contractor. I've received several bids with prices that very substantially. Most of the bids state "chicken wire". The bid on the lower end states 1/2" cement coat with sheets of "fiberglass mesh" embedded with Acrylic stucco finish. So it looks like the difference is chicken wire vs fiberglass mesh. Does fiberglass mesh instead of chicken wire seem unusual? Is it as good? Is there something in the bids I should watch out for? I'm in Denver Colorado if that makes a difference due to temperatures. Thank you for your help.
