I am just starting to personalize my home and hope I can assist and get assistance as I travel down this path to home improvement, I hope I can avoid the pitfalls and reach the goal of...uh does anyone know what the goal is??

Home improvement means time, money, patience and effort. I have been remodeling my place for 8 years now and am sure the place will never actually be done - especially when a woman is involved!! They always have "another" project that involves even more time, money, patience and effort. The barbers kids always need a haircut, the shoemakers kids always need shoes and the home remodelers home always needs remodeling. A home remodeler has to start somewhere though. One project at a time and eventually those individual projects start adding up to look like something. All I have to do now is start/finish my 2 year "punchlist"!!
