I am trying to reconnect old wood strips to concrete block to mount sheetrock on. My nail gun wont work. I have anchors but they have to be drilled out. Is there a nail or other item that will secure the wood strips to the concrete. The existing strips of wood are coming loose. Any suggestions? Thanks

Use Tap Con anchors and Instagrip adhesive or polyurethane adhesive. Where thay are loose enough to pull back from surface squirt some adhesvie in there then drill through the wood surface with a hole large enough to allow the tap con screw shaft to pass through then drill the pilot hole for the tap con in the concrete surface. Use flush mount (recessed head) tap con screws and tighten just enough to draw the wood to the wall . Won't need many cause the glue will grip real good as it sets.
