Trane XR80 draft inducer

I noticed a loud noise coming from my furnace. I went to take a look and discovered my draft inducer was running while the cool mode is on, the ignitor nor gas kick on, thank goodness. I have checked the wiring. In the last several months I had to replace the board due to water damage. The draft inducer should not run when in cool mode. I shut down the breaker for about 20 minutes, hoping a reset would happen. Any other possibilities?

Make sure the thermostat didn't go bad and is now calling for both heat and A/C at the same time.
