Tub sealing material

This is a hard solid material unlike silicon, it does not flex. I would appreciate your expertise in removing this material and replacing it with typical bathroom silicon. Thanks.

looks like tile grout ,Grouting is the process of filling the spaces in between tiles. Most options come in powder form, but premixed containers are available as well. Whichever option you choose, follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to mix grout. Keep any leftover dry mix for future repairs, but make sure to store it in moisture-free areas.

That material is pretty solid. It does not seem to be grout. What is the best to remove it without damaging the tub?
