The question which really was not important but was about over loading the neutral back to the transformer when the panel is out of balance.The ground and neutral are connected for one reason. That is to give the current a return path to trip the breaker if the hot should come in contact with any metal parts of the system or anything plugged into it with a grounded plug.
Would some of that overload be shared with the ground.
