Hi just joined and love your site! We are renovating an 1860 brick home and want to put wainscott panels on the bottom 4 feet of a bathroom. can I just fasten the panels to the plaster/lathe with glue,or do I need to put strips upand nail panels to strips? walls are3 bricks thick coveredwith plaster on outside walls no lathe. Thanks in advance

Hello, You should still be able to glue/liquid nails/wood adhesive caulk and then fasten with nails to studs if there is no lathe. Find your first stud in the wall at one corner, start at that point and cut and install from that point over, finding studs every 16" on center. Hope this helps.;) GregC
