Hi there everybody!
We have a little cottage where the power stopped working a few days after we turned it and the water on for some guests. It turns out there was a wasp nest in the electrical panel. (see pic) We cut the power to the conduit coming to the cottage and sprayed Doktor Doom Jet Foam in the hole they were using to get in. They’re now all gone and no one got stung. I’ve cleaned everything up inside the panel best I can but I’m scared to turn the power back on. WIll any residual insecticide in the breakers be conductive? Should everything in the panel be replaced? What would you do?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Mary-Lynne

Hi, I would think that would all be evaporated by now, get some rubber gloves and remove the nest, one other thing is that black cable on the right looks like it should have a differ connector, also looks like a nest of some sort in that area.
