There are three screws to make adjustments on the ice maker.
I forget which screws do what.
Anyone have a diagram to show it????

It's a Kenmore.
Ice maker model is WPW10715708.
I tried to find it on-line.
Found some information, but they don't tell which of the three screws do what.
I'm probably due to replace the filter.
Hollow ice, ice sections stuck together. Sometimes.
Sometimes it works fine.

If I were you and there's literally no info on the internet... I'll do trial and error. Switch the screws one at a time and see what happens to the ice.

If I recall hollow ice occurs when the ice maker dumps before freezing solid.

Go to 411Appliance Repair Forums. Dano has been giving me advice there since 1999. They sell parts too. I can’t recommend then enough

Ours is a 2003 Whirlpool side by side and they are famous for dead ice skiers. The little module burns out on the timer inside. I’ve replaced 4 times. Seems odd a screw adjusting that though. I’d try a new filter and see if thermostat is working right. Is frost blocking something did somebody spin the knob putting something on the fridge ect. Like I said post it on there and do what Dano says to fo......

Also, try handymanwire.com, register and ask in the appliance section. Jeff1 is my go-to guy for appliance questions. Also, repairclinic.com has some good troubleshooting guides for all things appliance.
