Sorry.....I used to have a popcorn ceiling. That ceiling had a large uneven crack from wall to wall. I.opted to get a new ceiling because popcorn is outdated and impossible to look new if I chose to repair the large crack. The guy completely ripped down the old popcorn ceiling and replaced it...
Thanx for the advice ......the biggest thing for me is being confident enough to put the cabinets up myself and countertops....I may just have to bite the bullet and pay for expert install
Yeah, I thought about that.....if I redo the kitchen I will just gut it down to the studs and get new everything besides appliances since they are new. Thanks
That sounds good, and the fan is literally a half foot from the roof so it would be traveling about 4 feet less than it is now out the soffit.....and of course up rather than over and down.
I want to make my kitchen look better wo doing a gutting job just yet. I can sand and repaint my cabinets but still left with ugly green countertops. I heard of this rustoleum kit that you can get to make them look almost like stone. Any reccommendations?
He told me the first time that its from nothing he did but rather its the shifting of the house.....which I'm not buying since he repaired it and used his own paint to fix it for free.
Yeah he tore down my old popcorn ceiling because of a very large crack from wall to wall....he said it was from the drywall being placed the wrong way. I believe he used 5/8 sheets. For the previous cracks he just mudded over them and sanded and painted. The new cracks and bows I see in dim...
I recently had a new ceiling put in. After a few months I noticed some bows and hairline cracks in certain spots. I had the guy come back and remud, sand the spots and repaint the ceiling. Once again I'm noticing a hairline crack or two and bows under certain dim lighting. Did this guy just...
The duct has One end going down through the soffit. The fan is 100 cfm. Just trying to figure out why air moves better when I popped the duct off. I also have lowered the water heat down a notch.
The duct is sized perfect to fit the hole out of the fan. The duct runs maybe 5 feet and pushed down through the soffit. It works a lot better when I took the duct off my fan. If the duct isn't obstructed the only thing I can think of is hot air naturally flows up and the cold air is restricting...
The fan seems to move air better when I took the duct off the fan so it vents in the attic. I don't want to leave it like this obviously so if I put the duct back on how can I make the fan move the air more efficiently ? ....insulate the flexible duct?
