What kind of moss are you having trouble with?

Hair dryer will do, like he said, simple one and done... or iron and towel, but I think the hairdryer method is easiest.

More bids/offers the better price you get. And get references, like someone above posted, very good to have before work.

Arg... tile are cold on the feet for a bedroom... yikes!

If the whole floor isn't redone it will be noticeable... A good contractor can do it without MUCH notice, but it will still be slightly different. So its all based on how much you want to spend.

I use that software myself, good stuff for being so old.

How about trying to learn with some inexpensive onlines classes that provide certifications. Or buy a cheap fixer-upper and learn hands on... hah.

Let the insurance company fight on your behalf, its the easiest way to get it over with. Good luck.

I concur with the others... windows, walls, then floor... that way you aren't installing/fixing anything that will screw the other new repairs up. Cheers!

This is fixable, finding a part is always the problem. You could remove the entire door and install a custom hinge.

I would go with a new steel tub, but maybe I am just feeling lazy today. ;)
