    Squeaky hardwood floor fix

Thank you for your reply. Is it possible that you might be familiar with the method that should have been used? It would have to be done from above since this is the second floor and there is a ceiling beneath it.

    Squeaky hardwood floor fix

After the old wall to wall carpet was removed in the hall we found that the hardwood floors underneath were in really nice condition. Thus, we modified our original intention to...

    Removing glass shower door frame

Thanks for your response. The frame and header are out. There was no damage to the tub and just a couple of small holes in the tile(very small) that I filled in and that don't even show. I am so glad that I did this. (Actually, one of my sons did it.) Thanks to everyone for their assistance.

    Luan underlayment

Hi Cork Guy - Just to let you know that I was quoting from the written estimate I received not from memory. I have seen info on the internet that folks actually use it for underlayment. I was just skeptical. But thanks so much for taking the time to respond. GrammaPat

I have no plans to put in another set of doors and I should like to remove the frame and tracks. I have hesitated doing...

Hello - Slate Floor Tile: We have slate in our entry area and it appears as though someone dropped something and a piece of slate chipped out and there are a couple of scratches in some other areas. Is there some way that I can repair this? The chip is about 4 inches long with a depth of...
