Thanks, I was just concerned about adhesion and it pealing over time as well as the cost compared to redoing the tile floor..

Anyone have any experience with epoxy spray flooring (like you sew on garage floors) used over ceramic tile? Not sure if I can get the wife to go for it but I am trying to save money and not remove the tile.

Can you add graphite string and use several wraps behind the packing nut to make it tighter and that should stop the leak and tighten the final plastic nut. Let me know how this works, we used to use it back in the 60's and 70's

Are any of the Home Warranty companies any good or worth the price? If so which ones. In my mid 70's and really can't do most of the repairs anymore and it it so difficult to find good repair folks. Thank you

No the tile is 35 years old at least and goes through a door way as well

Sorry, it will be removing enough tile and cutting the concrete slab to repair as water line at the minimum. Maybe cabinet removal as well. Probably at least 4 to 6 feet . Just guessing.

I have a ceramic tile floor that runs into three rooms without any breaks and I need to repair part of the floor. Is there anything that can overlay the existing tile to help save on repair and replacement. It is probably about 500 square feet. thank you

Thanks for the replies, I am looking into solutions now and will get back later. I am trying to figure whether to notify the insurance company first or after I get bids and maybe start the repair. It will have to be repaired no matter what, but if there is a way to get some insurance help I...
