    Load bearing wall

    This depends on the location of the wall...1 story 2 story etc. Does it run with the ceiling joist or at a 90 degree to it. Or take the "jack-leg" way and cut it out and see if it falls!!! HA!!!

    If you have somebody with a Internatinal Building codes book this will give you your pier distants and footing sizes based on the dimensions of the lumber you are using for the band sill / rim joist.

    Leveling costs

    I'm having to level my 1895 home - $500 will cover just the cost of the concrete. Not to mention if the inspector "gigs" you that will get costly and noe you are on his "#@%*" list for trying to do this on the slide. Do this by the numbers and you can't go wrong.

    Air Compressor, Porter Cable 6 gal.

    I will agree with you 100% I have had mine for about 4 years, it was a combo type kit. The only thing I did was to change to a longer hose inorder to put the compressor in the next room. It has permanant indentions in the back seat of my truck also.

    cracks along the mortar joint is one thing, but if it has split the brick you may want to try this...to disguise the crack repair use the silicone and flatten the tip to get back in the crack. Then take a brickand scrape some of the facing off. Mortar joints also, but do it in a hidden spot...
