The new sink will be in the same location ( a peninsula which comes out at 45 degress from the end of the wall there), and so the PVC that is there now, pictured, is still needed to reach the basement stack. I guess. This is outside my area of expertise (software eng) so I appreciate and...

My kitchen remodel is in progress. After ripping out existing cabinets we found that the plumbing for the sink drain cuts through a total of 7 studs, more than 50% through each (see photos). Contractor and I were originally worried that these were load supporting -- why else use 5 together? But...

It is only like this on the portion of the house pictured, the back where it is two stories above ground. At first I thought maybe his ladder wasn't tall enough to apply tape there and avoid the singles... however the house sides are even higher, and there, like in the front, 100% of the fascia...

Had a painter come by and paint the soffit and fascia today. Am having the gutters replaced, and had the old ones removed before the painter got here. When I got home today was surprised to find that the painter did not paint portion of soffit where gutters will go back on. Pictures of...

The entire basement was redone this year. I believe the drywall seen in the pictures was completed in the last two months.
