    Is pH testing important?

Water could have a low pH and be acidic soft, and corrosive. It's important t remove toxic metals that can be the cause for premature damage to metal piping and most importantly health hazards.

    Paint color help

By sticking with light walls and adding some wall art that ties in the deeper colors between the rooms you can carry the richness through that hallway. I very much like your idea of a light tan wall instead of off-white. Also, you could consider doing a unique painting technique like...

    Paint Color Advice?

I would almost think more of a greyish tint... verrrrry very light, though. I think that would best tie together your color palette. Good luck!

    Dishwasher wont start

Yeah, we'd need to know the blinking light code. Check the usual stuff though. See if there is something backing it up. You're best bet in the end might be to call a repair guy.

    Printer

I had a great DELL Inkjet printer. I believe it was the J740. Like the post above says, ink is the real killer, but I was always happy with that printer. As long as its compatible with your computer (might want to call DELL to find out before you buy), i'm sure you can find one pretty cheap...

    Painting steel siding?

I was working on a remodeling project with a friend, and we are having issues with rust on some of the aluminum siding. Would you recommend brushing that off, or are there any products that would be useful? Thanks!

    Google Sketchup

Google is nice for brainstorming, but its difficult to work on specifics. I have never tried the "Home design", but here is a nice review of some different products you can try: http://home-design-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ Hope that helps!

    AT&T internet provider

We switched from Comcast to AT&T last year. While I have not been overly impressed, it has been an upgrade. Comcast was a faster service, but the reliability was absolutely horrible! Our connection would go down at least once a week, and when it did they were the WORST on the service hot line...

    Wine Cellar.

Awesome project! I have been considering something similar in my house for quiet some time now. My wine collection is getting better, but once I go to Australia this next summer it should be ready for something like what you built. I will have to favorite this post, its great!

    Is pH testing important?

Hey everyone, I'm a new guy on the forum and I'm in the middle of some renovations in my master bathroom. I've done a few projects in the past but just recently a friend of mine suggested that I test the pH levels of the water flowing into my bathroom. Has anyone ever done this? Is it...
