    Tile on Floor

You can do the test as Neal stated, duct tape a piece of visqueen to the floor and see if any condensation appears. Or for about $20 you can get a calcium chloride test from a local flooring supplier . It is a fairly simple process, just follow the directions included with the test. Tile is very...

    Sealing tile.

The original question was if ceramic or porcelain needed to be sealed; which I answered no.

    terrazzo flooring.

Usually it is next to impossible! I've seen people find a grout color similar to their terrazzo and use that to patch the holes

screwed up shower stall floor. now what?

Use the thinset, not the cement mix. I am assuming the thinset is latex modified and this will help with the adhesion.

Natural stone flooring - cleaning and sealing

Check out stone tech , I highly reccomend the bullet proof sealer, but they also make a salt resistant sealer that might suit your situation. It was actually developed for use for stone around salt water pools

    terrazzo flooring.

Stone tech makes a poultice for removing grease stains from granite, I am pretty sure it will work on terrazzo

    measuring moisture content

This tool will give you very inaccurate results, if you are seriously wanting to know get a calcium chloride test from a local flooring distributor and perform the test S stated in the instructions. This will give you an accurate MVER rating

Replace glued down hardwood floors with wood tiles

I vote for LVT , luxury vinyl tila This stuff is bulletproof, has the wood look and can easily be replaced!

    undercutting a fireplace?

I agree on the saw but use a jamb or undercut saw , these saws would be ideal for your issue

    hard wood floors

Agreed sanding would be best, however I disagree with the bleach recommendation! Bleach will raise the grain on wood so you'd end up sanding anyway

    Sealing tile.

No sealer only works on porus surface, which ceramic is not!

    hardwood floor

I would vote for the stain refinish route! Laminate usually doesn't hold up too good for renters!!

    Laminate Wood Flooring

The best way would be a floor scraper!

    Painted Cement Floors

A shot blasted runs on electric, it's almost like a sandblasted but uses metal beads ( similar to ball bearings) most tool rental places will have them available for rent. Google shot blaster and you'll see what type of machine I am talking about
